Quick Update

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for being so slow to post lately. It’s been busy around here (as usual!) but we are also in the process of hiring an administrative assistant. The reward of having another person working in the office will be great, but it’s been time consuming the last couple weeks going through resumes (Craig’s List really works!), interviewing potential applicants, making a selection, etc. More soon!

Mark and Sarah - Thanks for a great post. I had my first presentation and signing for my first book ("Lincoln's Labels: America's Best Known Brands and the Civil War) a week ago in Chicago...I took to heart some of your advice from the past few months, and it paid off well. One of thos epieces of advice was to GET THERE EARLY...which I did, and was able to avoid the delays, etc., from some bad weather that day. It was a great experience and I learned lessons which I hope will pay off at my next talk and signing.
